Consulting

he simplicity of keypad technology makes for low barriers to adoption for all users. Response systems may be deployed in a number of ways with benefits that include:

  • breaking down the barriers between consultant and client employees
  • encouraging participants easily to contribute data and/or opinions
  • linking responses to clients or allowing them to retain their anonymity
  • juxtaposing opinions in order to precipitate debate
  • as interactive models to exemplify education points
  • demonstrating parallels between clicker-based simulations and real business issues

ABT has a range of models and simulations that engage participants in in-class, rather than on-screen, business activities. For example, use a response system to let participants answer a questionnaire that positions their organisation on Goffee and Jones's cultural model. Alternatively, talk to ABT about developing bespoke interactions that model or exemplify your proprietary consulting offer. ABT's "Discovery," has met with great success in the consulting arena; a complete micro-business in the classroom, it can be used to exemplify and address a wide variety of issues such as managing change, continuous improvement, configuring the business for profit, change management, or it can be tailored to address other specific agendas.

Events can be run by ABT staff or by you, with or without ABT staff in support. Training and accreditation in the use of the response systems and simulations is available, as is a range of keypad sale or rental options. ABT staff are also adept at developing bespoke interactive exercises to address specific training and consulting concerns.
